Welcome to the New Plymouth Classical Guitar Society Inc. The Society is always keen to establish links with other societies/classical guitar groups. New members are made very welcome and if you have an interest in the classical guitar, join them for their next meeting, and enjoy a musical moment or two in a convivial and informal manner. One of the most important aims of our Society is to bring all ages together in the establishment, the promotion and the enjoyment of the playing and study of the classical guitar.

Latest News

The Society's biggest feat yet is the organising and hosting of the Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School, from 16th Jan. to 21st Jan. 2012. It will be an intense and rewarding 6 days of workshops, lectures, presentations, masterclasses, ensembles, even an orchestra. Every day, the artists/faculty, all talented world-class players, will perform lunchtime recitals and evening concerts. The high level of talent and the dedication of the tutors will create an inspirational atmosphere for all participants.
